Fancy Gadam has asked King Ayisoba that if filling up the venues of large musical concerts is not an achievement then what is?
The Afro-pop artiste made this comment after King Ayisoba said in an interview at the THE SAMMYFLEX SHOW on BASE ONE TV with Sammy Baah Flex that “filling a stadium does not make you a champion.”King Ayisoba said this after Sammy Flex asked if he has ever filled a stadium at any moment since he started his music career.
He indicated that there are other accomplishments that make an artiste stand out.
“A champion is someone who sells shows globally. I’ve been awarded artiste of the year in Ghana and I am well-travelled with my music.”
Fancy Gadam, who is known for pulling large crowds for his concerts in the Northern regions of Ghana, replied Ayisoba by asking in an interview on Hitz News that;
“If King Ayisoba says doing music is not about filling major avenues then what is it about, he should tell us?”
According to the ‘Total Cheat’ hit-maker, it the ambition of every artiste to ensure their concerts attract massive audience.
“It is his opinion, because I believe strongly that, it is the dream of every artiste to fill up all big avenues, because it tells you who you are as an artiste, and how you are loved by the people.”
He added that, musicians do not produce songs for themselves but for the public. With that in mind, he indicated that, that is why they organize concerts.
“I believe that, when you are doing music, you are not doing it for yourself, you are doing it for the people, and that is when you organize concerts and the people will come out to show you love,” he said.
